Job Title: Onsite Assistant (OA)

Primary Location: Greater Dublin Area

Secondary Location: Ireland

Basis of Employment: Casual As Required

2. General notes

This job description provides an outline of the duties and responsibilities of the role and the necessary skills and knowledge required to perform them as at the date it was created. The roles and responsibilities of the Onsite Assistant include, but are not limited to, supporting Onyx Onsite Limited in providing the highest level of customer service, hospitality and professionalism at corporate events, for the clients of Onyx Onsite Limited, for the clients of Onyx Onsite Limited's clients and for all attendees of each given project.

4. Main roles and responsibilities

Onsite Assistant roles and responsibilities vary from project to project. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Airport Meet & Greet Assistant

  • Brand Ambassador

  • Car Park and Traffic Flow Monitor

  • Delegate Registration Assistant

  • Event Wayfinder

  • Hotel Hospitality Desk Assistant

  • Local Crew

  • Local Guide

  • Luggage Assistant

  • Transport & Logistics Assistant

5. Required skills

Onsite Assistant applicants do not require any specific standardised qualifications in order to be considered for the role. However, there are some skills and attributes which are seen as highly desirable for the role. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Excellent punctuality

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent general customer service skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • General enthusiastic disposition towards new opportunities

  • General interest in providing an excellent experience for event attendees and clients

  • General ability to learn quickly and adapt to unforeseen circumstances
